2 ?:Timing belt squeak and start up question
For the past week my timing belt has been making a squeaking noise on every coldstart up. The noise goes away after driving it for a bit. Is this something I should be concerned about or is it the cold temperature causing this (mind you my cars parked indoors). The issue used to happen last winter but it was occasional, this winter its constant.
Also just wondering if most people start up their car by immediately or do you guys put in the key then push the On Button then hit the brakes then start it up?After watching a youtube vid and doing this nowdays, I realized that my engine starts up much quicker like after going on a very long drive. Thanks in advance |

This is interesting right here. Now I don't want to say there's any validity in that, because I really don't know, but I tried this method on all three of my startups today and they have been the best I've had in recent memory. The cold has had a big effect on my startups (and perhaps a failing battery), but this method did help me.
