Stainless Steel Pedals & LHD M Sport Footrest install
Hi all,
Today I finished my OEM stainless steel pedal & M sport footrest install! Pedals were very easy to replace, I read that the brake pedal cover is hard to put on BUT all you need to do is - put a little fairy liquid (other brands are avaliable) around the edges of the cover & just push it on! The new acelerator pedal is a bigger unit / different design as I must have the LCI pedal..... but don't worry, it is a genuine replacement! Now the fun part - I got the OEM M sport footrest but its for the LHD (no RHD is avaliable).... so it required some re-shaping! End result: Well pleased with the result! You just have to cut the tabs off & an inch or so from the top! You just need to take your time to get the right shape! It's held in place with industrial strength Velcro - hasn't moved!
Mate, it's worth it - the footrest is only £20 or so! Pedals are expensive cos the accelerator is complete replacement part (not just a cover)! |
