Jack Point
My wife was driving my car and went over a bump in the road that was placed over a water hose. When she went over the large bump, one of the jack points snapped off. It did not cause any body damage. It just seemed to sheer or break the jack point off from under the car. It does not seem that I can unscrew the rest of it. Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas on how to fix this or should I just go to the dealer?
Thanks

You mean those plastic rectangle shape things? You can get new ones from Bmw. Here is Diy how to change http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DVTTAkfKcU
The part is number 21 in this link http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E9...ap_plug#pos_21.
