Any idea what these options are for? I changed just the first one without the second one, but nothing! According to NCSDummy:

Gear shift indicator in OBC
KOMBI
SCHALT_PKT_BC
original: nicht_aktiv
changed: aktiv
result: no gear indication

Permanent Gear shift indicator in OBC
KOMBI
SCHALT_PKT_DAUERHAFT
original: nicht_aktiv
not changed

i've set this on mine (e90 320d M47N2 engine) and the arrows are showed to me on BC, but I get no indication to shift gear. I've read somewhere that is just for cars newer than 2007 (mine is 02/2007 but build date is 12/2006)
I change this on mine:
SP_ANZEIGE -> aktiv
SCHALT_PKT_BC -> aktiv

After that I can enable it or disable it trough BC stalk button when nothing is selected on BC (ex, no mpg, no distance, juste de total and partial Odo)
But again, 2 arrows are showed but the number that I have to select don't appear.
If someone knows how to make it work on older cars, tell us!
