Haven't forgot about you guys, life is so crazy trying to move... Far as motivation would be clearly for appearance first, secondly sound...I don't believe i'm trying to "copy" anything by doing dual exhaust. 335 & 330 look basically identical exterior wise minus dual exhaust anyways.. Quad exhaust is a little bit to aggressive for the look I'm going for...Plus M3 come with quad exhaust so wouldn't that pretending ? I'm not trying to be a dick, but its the same concept as someone putting a M3 replica bumper on, or LCI tail light... doesn't mean your trying to be a poser, your just looking for a particular style for your car

I know this is an old thread, but Im curious on where did you relocate the Canister? How much of a wire extension did you need? Thank! Great work by the way, looks legit!

What are the gains? Don't see much of a benefit, but if you will, enlighten us!

All E9X have dual pipes from the headers back. Each header flows exhaust from 3 cylinders in separate pipes. The dual pipes end going into the muffler.

I'm sorry, I know that part. Should've made my self a bit clear, I really meant how'd you manage to link the headers to the exhaust, isn't the link for the downpipes different on a 335i's exhaust? What kind of hardware you used to bolt the header to the 335i exhaust system?

Your going to need a m3/335 trunk bin...heat shield..plastic under belly shield..misc screws...you'll have to relocate your vacuum canister so you'll need 4 misc hoses and to extend the wiring also...
Where'd you relocate the canister to? Pics?

is it possible to just get a 335i's vacuum/evap canister with the extended hoses & wiring & just retrofitting it?
