Question Call waiting problems - Razr V3 phone and bluetooth (I-drive)

Okay, here's the problem...
when I'm talking on the phone and a 2nd call is coming in, sometimes the phone gets stuck in "waiting" mode and I can't disconnect either one of the phone calls or switch back to the car's system. The screen shows the 1st call as still active and counting time. Ultimately, I have to turn the phone completely off to disconnect all of the calls.
(note: as usual, have to open the phone to get the 2nd call - stupid, but that's a different discussion)

Anyway, took the car to the dealership to try to get the bluetooth He*l problem resolved, and all I hear is that they can't duplicate it and there are no SIBs about it. & no, they aren't talking about upgrading the Progman, even though I think they should.

I've got to go to the dealership and try to duplicate it for them, so some quick advice would be appreciated.

I think it's just a shortcoming of bluetooth. I have noticed the same thing (Verizon Razr). My friend has the same issues in Lexus.

Anyone have an easy time with call waiting and getting back to the original call with just steering wheel buttons????

that said, I think bluetooth should be as standard as seatbelts from a safety standpoint.

Call waiting never worked with my bluetooth. I use a Sony Ericsson W810i. Everytime I get another call when I am on the phone, I never get any options to answer it using the controls on the car but I can answer on my phone; however the call gets listed under missed calls.

Call waiting is still an issue. I have had two phones a E815 and now a Rzar. Call waiting does not work with either. Seems to be an issue but no fix.

Call waiting doesn't work for me on my RAZR either. If I let it ring through I miss the incoming call and it dumps the call I am on. Now if I am on a call and I here the call waiting beep I tell the person I am on with I gotta go and I usually hang up in time to get the new call
