2011 328i xdrive Sedan Brake question
Nothing major in this, no sport package or anything, just a manual transmission.
Personally, I plan on keeping this relatively stock since it works fantastic for me as a daily driver. Stock wheels on this are/were 225/45/17 For winter use, I downsized the wheel and tires to 205/55/16. (I drive through heavy snows in Erie, PA and just this past week alone it pretty much snowed for a week straight) The only problem I have at the moment is that I'd like better stopping power. Having test driven a 328i coupe (which from what I've found has better brakes and a true sport suspension available on it), it's the only thing I wished I had on this sedan. That said, are there better options for stopping power regarding the brakes that I can get without forcing me to keep a 17" wheel? I'd prefer to still be able to use the 16" wheels for winter use as much as possible. From searches, I'm to understand that the rotors are stock Zimmerman rotors, though I'm clueless as to what pads might get a better bite into them? |
