Both HID's blown out
Hey, first of all sorry for poor English grammar, it's not my mother tongue. Thank you!
So I got an e90 2007 pre-lci BMW with HID bulbs retrofitted. I have this problem that both of my HID's wont fire up, this problem started first in my drivers side HID like a week ago. At first it just randomly turned off and on but it was still working somewhat okay and didn't worry about it too much back then. But yesterday when I were driving just normally, my other HID blew out also, and it started smell like "electricity". Since then both bulbs have been dead, but sometimes the drivers side bulb turns on when I start the car but after like a minute it goes dead again. My drivers side headlight gets pretty moisturized inside but I dried it up yesterday and like 2 hours after it the passenger side HID blew out, I don't think this has any connection but it just happened consecutively. I also installed JBD a week ago, but I'm pretty sure this hasn't anything to do with the lights, right? These are the HID's I have fitted https://www.bimmian.com/HID-Retrofit...r-E91-3-Series So my real question is does anyone know what might have caused the issue, was self thinking the ballasts might be broken. Thank you in advance. |

112 pounds is allot for a hid kit. Hidsdirect sells kits rhat are identicale to those 65 pounds. Either way you need ballasts I would say. Send them back and get them replaced.
