What should i pay for 2012 bmw 328i coupe
Hi guys,
I want to buy a 328i coupe. I prefer 328i over 428i and a dealer near my house has got one. Considering 328i coupe are not in production anymore, what do you think i should pay for the car? i thought about invoive price, but in this case, since i am sort of off loading car from him which i guess no-one willing to buy as 428i in same lot has almost same price. Can you guys give me some idea on what would be best price for me to offer dealer and get good deal ? here is configuration: bmw 328i coupe (2012 model - can this also help to get the price down?): •6-SPEED STEPTRONIC AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION -inc: normal, sport & manual shift modes (205) •2-WAY POWER GLASS MOONROOF with "one-touch" operation and sliding interior sunshade (403) •PWR FRONT SEATS -inc: driver seat memory (459) •HEATED FRONT SEATS (494) •BAMBOO ANTHRACITE WOOD TRIM (4BY) •NAVIGATION SYSTEM •BMW ASSIST -inc: enhanced Bluetooth & USB (639) •BMW APPS -inc: smartphone integration (REQ: 609 Navigation System) (6NR) •SPORT LEATHER-WRAPPED STEERING WHEEL W/PADDLES (REQ: 205 Auto Trans) *Replaces steering wheel in ZM2 M sport pkg* (7XA) •SPACE GRAY METALLIC (A52) •BLACK, DAKOTA LEATHER SEAT TRIM (LCSW) •M SPORT PKG •PREMIUM PKG I really appreciate your help. Thanks |

You should do much better than invoice price on this car. It is two model years old and will be a two year old used car once you drive it off the lot.
First of all, BMW is offering $2k to $4.5k off of 2013 cars with the Happiest New Year event. IMHO, I would need at least $4k under invoice, maybe more. I ran a 2013 cost estimate on Edmunds and got a fair market value of $1k under invoice on a 2013 328i coupe. A 2012 should be even cheaper. It may be new now, but once you drive it off the lot it will be a low mileage two year old coupe on the old body style. The dealer should take the hit for that, not you. Good luck. |
