Anyone Use Boost Juice? (Guessing Not)

Pretty simple, i'm just curious if anyone uses it on this platform when spraying. With all the people who have meth, would make sense that some run boost juice.

To this point i've been mixing conservative meth mixtures, but it's a bit of a pain and the thought of storing drums of meth is less than appealing. Boost Juice is not a good value proposition, but very convenient for more modest meth tuning. Since i'm not tuning for meth as fuel, I don't need a particularly aggressive concentration.

Plus the coloring would be helpful...though I obviously can't see through SS lines lol.

Thanks in advance amigos

There are several guys running boost juice. It's a consistent and easy way of doing it, if not the cheapest.

I run 100% alcohol, no mixing involved and the most effective mixture as far as power and thermal management is concerned.

People use it but most find that half of the shipping cost is plain water. The other down side was that it stained clear lines pink. It's easier for most methanol injection users to just source a VP M1 meth 5 gallon drums locally. The 5 gallon drums also last longer.

However, if the ease of boost juice fits your needs then it will of course work like any other methanol pre mix.

Thanks for the responses

I read somewhere...don't even remember, but somewhere that there was some wax or additive in it that was less than awesome? True?

It's really a convenience thing for me to be honest. Yes, paying $ to ship distilled water is obnoxious, no question there. But it just seems odd to have 5 gallon meth drums in my apartment, and there is no way in hell I could leave it at a friends or parents house. Lol.

I don't mind the lines getting stained, it's all SS from tank to nozzle so I can't really see it anyways. Actually I should have thought that through better, will make it harder to prime/purge and see air pockets down the line...hoping HFS-4 works well enough to avoid those issues in the first place.

@Allen@ptf...Come Spring it's protune time brotha just need to get a few more things sorted and get the temps up.

I never had any priming issues or air pockets once I got legit setup going with my methanol injection. It's the cheap setups and cheesy lines that are majority of the culprit.

Anyway, I'm not sure about boost juice but I think VP M3 Methanol or something has some additives that are not good.

I have to ask, however, what is the difference between storing boost juice and storing VP M1? I understand the technical mixture but aren't you still storing methanol in your apartment? I would definitely ask a friend, personally. A true friend would understand

I have a few 5 gallon drums of m1 that i cut with peak -20 ww so My end result is. 80%meth to 20%water. Comes to about $6 a gallon. Find a local vp dealer and just buy a few m1 drums. I keep them in my garage in the hot summer days and i have a ground strap to the one in use just as a precautionary

Hmm...man that's so much cheaper. I cannot argue with that approach. Maybe i'm just being a shmohawk and need to get serious with dat meth spray.

IDK...just knowing that boost juice can't combust super easily is comforting. The flash point of methanol is scary low. Gives me the heebee jeebees storing it in my apartment.

I'll see if I can convince a buddy with a garage to hold it there. He'll complain but we can work something out.

That's one reason I did away with meth. Storing the stuff in my apartment scared me, and I didn't want to pay $$$ for boost juice.

If your worried about combustibility then only store your desired mix. I have a plastic gas can i pre store mine in until it's ready to use. Hard to pour the drum into the meth tank where i have it

Be careful, 50/50 is less likely to combust but any situation that would be likely to light 100% methanol, like a spark or flame, would also light 50/50. If you are super worried about keeping it in your apartment(honestly, a very real concern) then you could rent a storage locker. Most rental places well rent a decent sized storage room for $15-$20 a month.

So you store the drums in the garage or somewhere relatively safe, then a premixed canister with presumably far less liquid in it? Yea lugging out a 5 gallon can to my car from the apartment wouldn't make much sense, so that's how i'd have to go about doing it.

Any concerns about evaporation from a gas can messing with your mixtures? Or is the degree of evap we're talking about minimal to the point of it being a moot concern.

The storage locker is a good idea, I hadn't considered that (I feel like I say this every day on the forums hah).

That would also be real fun to explain to friends/family/sig other/colleagues

"Oh yea I just need to pop by my storage locker..where I keep drums of meth"

Be sure to use "shifty eyes" whenever you mention meth in public... it leads to hilarious reactions.

Yea i keep the premix ready to rock and roll. I can fill my trunk 2-3 times before i having to refill my gas can so i don't have to handle the drums much. But yeah all is stored in my garage

Oh yeah like being questioned by cops about why i have cleared the shelves at Walmart of heet for the past few days in the summer in the south. Thanks to all the rednecks around here for ruining the trust. The hardest part was trying to explain why and how i use meth. I even showed him how to fill my tank. Lol at first there was 3 cruisers in the parking lot waiting for me to come out. It did look a little suspicious when i come out with only that at 2:30am when i got off work.

Had you known they were out there, you should have bought a box of rubbers to make it a really fun conversation!
