Pioneer Amplifed Enclosed Sub.. Any Other suggestions

Being im in Germany i can buy this no problem. Funny thing is the Pioneer US Market does not offer this sub..

2 Questions. I really want a simple pre amplifed built Sub butttt I want control over the Bass with a Knob. This pioneer sub does not have that option. Is there a way for me to build one in? or can anyone suggest a Similar Product with a Bass Control Knob..
