hey booster! how do i remove the grills? i tried pulling it out this morning but its really difficult and i didnt wanna pull harder coz i was afraid i might break some parts inside....am i supposed to pull the grills really hard? is there something that's attached to the grills??

I personally have never tried it.... but from that DIY I guess you just grab a couple slats and pull with even pressure...

it was the easiest thing ive ever done to my car/any car. Well its only the second thing ive ever done but it was sooo easy, you just pull really hard with two hands on one grill then do the same to the next. Heres a pic.

hey you guys, FYI not to rain on anyone's parade but, anyone can get the chrome kidney grill installed by simply going to a body shop (a buddy's preferably) having them order the part for about $60 and ask them to install. I just recently got them on. Any body shop will do. I'm not sure if BMW will sell the part to a non-body shop though.

i paid 65 bucks shipped and installed myself, took all of 2 min to install.
