Also it wont regen if it cannot reach proper running temp. So if your stats are creamed it will eventually kill your dpf too as it cant regen.
Heavy right foot is the best medicine for a dpf car. They are ment to be driven not pootled around town |

Double This... Heavy right foot now and again that is !
Unfortunately I have the car and have to try to 'undo' the damage that may have been done here by an estate agent. Added some Wynn DPF cleaner to the tank and tanked 80 miles up and down the A3* to try and force a regen... no luck yet. Will have a go at cleaning the EGR too.. bloody weather permitting ! Might have to go for a removal of the DPF in the end |

Replaced both my stats and engine gets up to temp 90+ degrees in about 5-8 miles. But have a P14A7 error (no light on dash though) reported by my Bluetooth ODB2. This means 'DPF flow resistance".
