Track advice needed (e92 335is)
I'm not sure whether i should go with tires on my OEM 19" wheels or to get my coilovers first. I'm getting ground control w/hybrid camber caster plates, the school/street kit. I was considering getting pilot super sport in oem size 225F 255R. I just want to take advantage of the track day and be able to enjoy my car. Aside from the obvious brake fluid/pads the above mentioned parts are a big weakness, also without forgetting the oil cooler.I know also that OEM 19" are not ideal for track but i really don't want to buy dedicated wheels, mine look pretty cool. Opinions, suggestions, comments wanted.

The car is capable on the track without modification; prioritize getting high-temp brake fluid.
19" OEM are a little heavy, both weight-wise and economically; you could just about get a dedicated wheel/tire setup for the track considering the price of 19" PSS. A dedicated setup will pay for itself after a couple of events. You'll figure out pretty fast that no one cares if your wheels look cool on the track. See this thread, lots of the same info you're probably looking for: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=878329

Yeah go check the classified section here, or your regional forum - plenty of people sell wheels and tires. It doesn't need to be special, but you can get get something for under $1,000.

Were are you located? Vendors got some great deals on wheel/tire packages. I was quoted 1950 mount/balance and installed for arc8s and nitto nt01s
