FINALLY got some LCI rears!

As the title says, I finally got some lci's.. about time!!

And seeing as threads are extremely boring without photos, here are a couple of pics I took on my iPhone. May take up photography.....

Only thing is.. When I have my lights off, they are on.. and the indicators are blinking at about the speed of light! Lol. Also there's a bulb error on the dash.

I thought that with the harness I got from bmw that that would all not happen, and the only thing that would happen without being coded was the flickering at the start.

Any care to shed any light?

Just wondering, could this have anything to do with the wiring harnesses being on the wrong side.. Or are they the exact same??

Thanks for any help!!

thats really odd about the lights being on when they should be off, but the fast blinking and warning light is normal until you get the car coded.
i don't think the harness has anything to do with. were they second hand or brand new? Originals or copies?

Even with the BMW harness you need to code the car to accept the new lights, one thing to note is the harness is left and right if crossed it may lead to other problems that you may have.

Brand new and oem, I thought from what I'd read that you always got the flickering at the start until coding (which I know is right) but I thought the harness stopped the fast blinking and errors. Obviously I just read it up wrong though, will bring it over to a friend and get him to plug it in and see what he can do

I thought about this after I'd made the first post, so I'll swap them over and see if they go off when the lights are off as I didn't realise there was a left and right at the time.
