How can I get info on a 335 I'm looking to buy, how do you guys do it?

it has history with Auto classic in vic park.

If I gave them the vin, would they email me any history they have on the car?

or is there another dealer australia wide that would do this, if they wouldn't for some reason?

I understand why you would like it but I would be surprised they will hand over customer information to you in this manner. If it was my car I would be really pissed they were breaching my privacy by disclosing such information. If you owned it then it would be a different story.

I hope you get what you need so you can make an informed decision.

no worries, after I've bought the car I assume they would email it all to me - to save me going in?

I've had this experience before. Without you know the service manager pretty well they won't hand over the detailed information, but they will read it out to you over the phone.

Have you asked the current owner/seller to show you the service book and service reports?

If there's nothing to hide, there's no reason not to show that info to a potential buyer.

called up autoclassic & they said they would only email me the history on the car if the previous owner rang them to give them authorization to do so.
