Bumpstops for E90 335D
Hi,
what bump stops do most people go for when lowering an E90 on a Pre-LCI 335D? I've heard of people going for E36 M3 front bump stops and Z3M rears. Does this work? And if so what is the ride like? Thanks |

I will be using OEM, should be fine.
Turnermotorsports do a kit with the front top mounts and rear shock mounts: http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-11...uspension.aspx That's for an M Sport. If yours is an SE just look for the non-m version. Then take the part numbers and enter them on this website, they are cheaper: http://www.schmiedmann.co.uk/ If you have the bumpstop part numbers the above website also sell them. |

Are these needed on all lowered cars?

Yes shorter bumpstops are highly recommended when you lower. See this thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=614778 In the thread a guy opts for the above bump stops and is happy. Now the norm on the other side of the river is M3/Z4 bumpstops when lowering. Cutting stock ones is not recommended

The rears should be Z4M and not Z4. I realised just today i posted the Z4 part numbers. Please see the updated Z4M bumpstop part number! Hope no one has bought yet!

Anyone pondering about Z4 or Z4M bumpstops please see page 2 of this thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=924740
Both will work but just trying to find out the difference! |
