E90 Pre Lci Exhaust to Lci Exhaust

Hi guys, currently have an 06 e90 320d that has had a full lci conversion done apart from the exhaust which is that awful downturned pipe without dpf

Have searched the forums and not really found the answer.
Is possible to get a back box of an lci 320/330 and have it welded on to the existing set up?

Im in the Manchester so any recommendations welcome

Thanks

There is no separate back box as such so it would require cutting the exhausts. Bit more expensive but you could consider a Back box from a company called BCS. This will be the same process as fitting an lci one but will look much better IMO. Expensive enough for nothing more than a visual upgrade as there will be no difference in sound. This is mine.

Hope this helps.

you could either get a 330D backbox and get an exhaust shop to weld it on.

or you could just go to an exhaust shop and get them to fit a new rear box with your choice of tailpipe

or you could buy that BCS then pay an exhaust shop to fit it.

personally, I bought a full 330D system (100£ used) then paid a garage to make up a de-cat and fit the 330D full system. cost me 200quid for the de-cat and fitting.

If your existing backbox is okay and its just the tailpipe you want changed then go to your local powerflow and get a new tailpipe welded on would look even better then than an LCi's tailpipe. Price about 50-100 max

You will get more soot up the back of the car though by ditching the downturned tailpipe but it's a small price to pay if you ask me....
