Dealership flagging?

So my car is not under bmw warranty. It is under my warranty i bought through my bank. Before my bmw warranty expired i brought it in for some work. I couldn't take mods off because for some odd reason my water pump decided to die in the middle of the road (fml). Anyway work was performed, but i also asked them to take a look at a rattle. When i come back to get the car on my ticket it says noise is due to aftermarket parts and lists all my parts (dp, blow off, intake). My question is if i take it to the dealership to have work done on car using my warranty i bought through my bank( not bmw) will they disclose that i had those mods on there? Is my car flagged? I took all the mods off so now its stock but i dont want to take it there and then my warranty i just bought get voided.

I would take it to another dealership and find out for sure.

Take the mods off first -- surprise them if warranty is gone

You have to read the fine print of your warranty paperwork . .every aftermarket warranty is different .

Have you filed a claim yet with your aftermarket warranty company? If not, make sure he car is 100% stock and take it to a reputable shop that has done business with your warranty company in the past. Read the fine print in your warranty paperwork concerning your car being covered if modded, or if it has ever been modded in the past.

Why not just take your car to an indie repair shop and skip the dealer?

BTW on an aftermarket warranty the dealer does not usually care about modded parts... however on my extended warranty I have to attest that the car is not modified.

So caveat emptor on that if you need to attest in writing at each repair because it would be fraud.
