Redline D6

I noticed a lot of people here use Redline D4 ATF here. Has anyone used Redline D6 ATF? Redline states it meets Shell M-1375.4 spec and can be used in our ZF transmission. If you've used it before, what do you think?

Searched but no result.

Here is the link to Redline D6

I've used both and prefer the D4. Tried the D6 first since that's what Redline shows on their website for our car if I remember correctly. Nothing scientific about my reasoning, I just thought the D6 felt almost too "thin". Friction was almost non-existent between gear changes but I didn't like how it felt. Almost too loose. Bear in mind that I live in Florida so it's pretty much always hot here. Colder climates might appreciate the reduced friction.

I dont like D6 and Its in my car now. Its notchy and harsh shifts. Zero slips but too rough. Seems thin.

D4 for days if you drive hard and/or live in a warmer climate.

However it could be the Alpina flash as I have never shifted that high with the factory TCU flash.

It's less viscous than either fluid. IMHO the Redline fluids are better than Lifeguard. It's just not meant for really hard driving.

So what your saying is that redline D6 is thicker than lifeguard 6?

I just know that the shifts from 2nd to 3rd at WOT are rougher than they used to be more notchy.

Okay so I drove the car to high rpm's and shifted from second to third gear wow the transmission and car were still cold the shift was smooth, there is a slight delay while shifting like it goes slower when it's cold.

But the harshness is much smoother and pretty much 100% gone! does this mean that I need Thicker or more viscous fluid?
