Had mine done last month. 0% performance gain... The car would revert to its basemap every time the tuner went near the ignition timing.
I have had contact with a guy who ended up with 210hp but that took a new intake, schrick sport cams, a custom exhaust manifold with cat delete. All mods that cost big money. I have asked around a lot but the message is always the same - forget it. If you want more hp get a 335i it will be less expensive. I still love my SI though I had hoped for some more power. |

Do You know what intake he has?
Im looking for something to replace what look like a restrictive original. And do you know how the car performes with the mods? Less torque in the low range, so have to rev it more maybe? |

Especially in this tread
320si is notorious for not having the optimal stoichiometric mixture. So a 320si are one of the few NA cars I would recommend to check if a MAP is useful Usually it's enough to get a software upgrade from the dealership. But in some cases that is not enough. |
