engine oil for e93 lci 320d

with my service being due, i want to know if anyone can help me with the engine oil i need to buy for my car
i have a e93 lci 320d
what engine oil would i need
is it 0w30
or 5w30 and can someone recommend me a very good engine oil please

I'm sure someone can tell you specifically but I just used the Castrol web site for my Mini: input your car reg and the correct oil comes up.

Just purchased from Eurocarparts incidentally as they had the Castrol Edge 0W-30 I wanted at a pretty good price, £31, 4L, delivered (and its the same oil for my Mini and E91 330D). Is BMW LL04

EIther go onto Euro car parts website or Opie oils, out your reg in and it should give you a list of options - I think it most likely to be 5w30 (but please double check) and LL04 compliant.

I tend to use Mobil ESP 5w 30 as I get 10 litres for £63 and plus it comes in 5 litres whereas the castrol only comes in 4 litres.
