Stupid decision...
So I made the stupid decision of trying to drive about a mile in the snow storm yesterday to pick my friend up. I slid out going about 2 mph and cracked my rear taillight. Chipped some of the paint off of the bumper but I think I can fix that good enough with touch up. I can't seem to find a replacement taillight for a good price. It is the passenger side taillight and the part that goes from trunk to the side of the car, so the larger one of the two that are connected.
Does anyone know where I can find one of these cheap? Or does anyone have one they are willing to sell? I will post some pics in little about the bumper, I really don't want to have the whole thing painted if I don't have to. |

Hey there, not sure if you've gone the ebay route yet but see if these help you. I've also included one link that has a "make offer" so maybe you can get it cheaper.

Thanks you. I called the dealer and they want 220, which is the same price they are going for on ebay. So I guess I will just pick it up at the dealer. Does anyone know the installation process for the tail light?

assuming 2--7 is 2007, you should be able to find them all over ebay, e.g., http://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-2008-20...-/251433470419
Assuming they are the same install as the LCI that detailaddict posted, they take no time to change. |

Installation is a snap, and you can always look at salvage yards/parts recyclers that specialize in BMWs. I know there's one near where I live in Rancho Cordova (outside Sacramento), among others throughout the country.
