Hey there,

I have a 2007 e90 335i 4dr Sedan and am looking to replace both the headlights and taillights

One of my headlights is dimming and I figured this would be a good time to just get complete replacements, since I think the stock are pretty ugly anyways.
Same with the back, I'd just like replacements to give the newer post-LCI look to my taillights

So basically, I found this site which sells a variety of nice looking headlights for my car, Specifically this model http://www.carid.com/2007-bmw-3-seri...-12131921.html

My question is, will those fit in my car? Also, how difficult is the procedure of replacing the headlight housings? I'm not an expert but I wouldn't call myself a novice either, and if all I need to do is loosen bolts, plug in some jumpers, etc. I'm more than capable.

Or do you guys have any other suggestions of good looking headlights for my car? I REALLY would love the Euro-style headlights that have no reflectors or orange/yellow coloring inside (except the signals obviously) but i've heard Euro style headlights are $900+ a pair

Also can somebody suggest Post-LCI looking tail-lights that are compatible with my Pre-LCI car? Personally I love the look of these tail-lights with the mean looking light bars http://www.ebay.com/itm/05-08-BMW-3-...38184a&vxp=mtr

But again, I want to be certain they will be compatible.

First of all I dont know what you mean by "post LCI" in e90's theres pre-lci so you and me with our 2007's and LCI which i believe is either 2009 or 2010 and later. And do you mean whats after LCI, like the new F-chassis?

However I do like the tail lights you put a link to and have been looking at similar ones, but the ones on ebay seem low qualiyy, theyres a place in australia that sells them that will come out just a little bit more tha this, but theit lights look better and higher quality and have more options, i think their website was the speedline or something like that.

As far as the headlights go, you will get flammed on by every one here by going with anything other than depos or other +$600 headlights. I went with a 250ish projector headlight from spyder auto on car id, the quality of the materials is ok the only problem I have are the halos, theyre ccfl so theyre not that bright during the day, but the ones you're looking at are LED so they will be brighter but I've always heard bad things about spec-d theyre fitment and material quality so thats the bad on that

OEM is kind of expensive, but it's the best option.

LCI halogens are the cheapest option, but they won't be any brighter than stock.

Here is a new set of LCI xenons. Bulbs/ballasts, turn signal modules, and wiring is an extra $7-800 new, but it is worth the cost. You can also look for used parts or a complete set of headlights to bring down the cost.

Another option is a set of Depo headlights, although I wouldn't recommend that option unless you switch out the projectors and angel eyes.

And I will look into that australian website you talked about for the tails..
as for the head lights, Depos are the only quality ones? I thought CCFL were brighter than average halos,?

Sorry if it sounds stupid, but why exactly do I need new ballasts and signal modules as well.. I cant reuse the old?

What i'm really looking for is a plug-and-play option since I don't know too much about the wiring or coding aspect. I just would like a nice LED bright angel eye headlight that won't give me issues
