Over the weekend - I decided to Plasti-dip the wheels since I have heard great reviews about the product,

I am just not sure I like it, I am 50/50 whether to keep the OEM look

Alpina wheels should never see plasti-dip in their life. The wheels might look good powder-coated in gunmetal.

i see Ferrari powder coated wheels all the time where I live, Maserati wheels black also all of the time, but ysound like you are not a fan of the Aplina wheels? maybe gun metal? I would prefer to keep it all one color but thanks foryour opinion

I pretty much thought it was fun to experiment but maybe the Alpina given the trademark spoke design, is to be left alone as OEM, I was just getting bored and I believe no matter what kind of car you drive, making it unique can sometimes look good and not look good, thats the fun part of using this product.

I got sick of My Ferrari OEM wheels that were aluminum but never had the guts to powder coat them to plastidip them, wish I had before I sold it last year.

I think he is saying that you have a beautiful car with beautiful wheels and using such a cheap product on those bad boys should not happen.

If you had a ferrari now an alpina I think you can afford some good powdercoating. Plasti dip is just a super cheap way out.

I was saying that Alpina wheels are gorgeous in their stock form. Using something cheap like plasti-dip on such a high quality product wouldn't sit well with me. When I said they might look good in gunmetal, I was comparing it to the black plastidip.

I think it looks great also. The best part about it is it's not permanent like painting or pc, so you have options of going back to stock anytime. Well, anytime you want to spend hours removing it or paying someone to remove it that is . Not sure if it has any of the typical plastidip orange peel when close up, but in those pics it looks very clean.
