07 335i No Start

In need in some help/advice. I purchased a07 335i coupe 2 weeks ago, drove it today for the first time in about 4 days, started up fine went to run a few errands, parked it in the driveway and turned it off, then about a minute later got back in and went to turn it back on… nothing. No start.Pressed the brake hard and hit the button, repeated 3 times pulled out the fob and repeated this.
In the process, the yellow steering wheel light with left and right arrows came on once, then never again since . After getting out and letting it sit for about 5 minutes, got in and it started up fine, no lights on the dash.

Tested the battery and read 12.55 Volts with the car off and 14.86 with the car running. Need some advice on what the possible next step i should take is.
Im guessing the battery is original as well. Wasn't sure if this has anything to do with the notorious steering lock issue with certain year e92's???? Anybody who has had this problem or knows about this issue send info my way. Much appreciated

There's a recall for the power cables. Might want to see if it was done

Yeah I had the same problem - it is most likely the battery cable recall.

And yes, you can call your local dealer to run the VIN to see if it was already done.
