Can someone upload a video or a couple pics with how to get to the heated seats control and how does it look.

Hi Carlos,

I have done as you said - I tapped the ACC cable to a constant 12v supply - it has made no difference I am afraid. It doesn't hold or remember which screen I was on when it shuts down.

To be honest, I find getting to the heated seats a bit of a pain through the Eonon.

I know its only a few clicks, but I am used to getting in the car and when it is cold the first thing I (used to) press the button below the climate control to heat the seats.

Now I have to wait for the Eonon to boot and then navigate through to the touch screen - vital buttock warming seconds! I live in the UK - cold, but nothing compared to Canada! (I notice that you are in Toronto).

I may get a kit that moves the heated seat buttons to the front ash tray so that I can have easy access again.

Overall I think it is good value for money, for what is a budget unit.

Apart from a few annoying things - the access to the heated seat controls, not remembering the last screen you were on and not displaying phone contacts in alphabetical order - I like it.

I have also installed a reversing camera which works well with this.

I've been following this thread for ages but I'm not going to leap in and buy one until I'm happy all the bugs are ironed out, which still doesn't seem to be the case. I'm still not sure about the fit, either. Does it still stick out at he bottom? And if so, why don't they fix this? Would be nice to see some pics of the installed unit on the web side to see how well it fits and integrates.

If you have followed this whole thread, you will know why it doesn't sit flush - or how it can be made to sit flush by severe trimming.

The fitting solution offered doesn't sound like something I would contemplate, I'm not at home to Msrs Bodgitt and Scarper! I don't want something that's creaking and rattling over every bump.

I've never been able to understand why the Chinese put masses of effort into building a product but then don't seem to able to put the finishing touches to it. The best examples of this are the instruction manuals. How much would it cost to get someone English to proof read and correct the manual into proper written English rather than the, admittedly amusing, Babelfish translation?

It certainly doesn't creak or rattle - because it is such a snug fit. The 2 screws pull it in really tightly.

Hi ssc330d, firstly, thank you so much for great support and kindly understanding We appreciate it so much!

Regarding the question about the memory, how about BATT cable? you should connect ACC to the engine of the car and BATT (yellow) to the 12V+. Meanwhile, i checked the video, but the heat unit cannot hold the memory for the setting. So how about when you turn off the head unit under USB, DVD, Radio, iPod mode?does the head unit still turn to AUX when you restart it again?
By the way, how about the other functions, such as radio, does the radio stations can be kept? Thanks

Hi Carlos,

I am not sure that I understand you. You told me that the yellow ACC lead was to go to the 12v power?
But now you say the yellow ACC should go to the engine? What do you mean? This should be the earth??

Thanks.

Hi ssc330d, sorry for made you confused. ACC (red) is for engine of your car, and BATT(yellow) is for 12V+ of the battery. Thanks for your kindly understanding.
