MY TRIP! DRIVE FROM LAS VEGAS TO SEATTLE with my 335IS! (Photos inside)

Hi Guys, my names TK! Some of you already know me by T-cash702, I recently relocated here to the Northwest (Seattle Area) from fabulous sunny Las Vegas!

I own a 11' 335IS DCT, and this is my trip photos from Las Vegas to Seattle. I met some really awesome and cool people the 2 days coming here and would like to say thank you to them and for their company!

Anyways, enough talk, i will caption as i go! Here it is! OH AND THESE ARE NOT EDITED AT ALL SO DO NOT JUDGE MY CRAPPY PHOTO TAKING SKILLS AND NOTE 2!

Waiting at the airport for my departure, tired as hell woke up at 5 and only slept for a few hours since i was so anxious!

But i cant COMPLAIN because im riding first class hehe upgraded !

Photos taken from Speedway Drag Strip in Las Vegas.

Waiting in line for my 1st race of the night!

My friend Reggie and his 5.0 RTR thingy trolling in my photos! LOL
Bottom will be a link of a race between him and a FBO 135i (cobb tuned) 6-speed manual w/clutch LOL

MY LAST STOP IN VEGAS, SO TO MAKE IT SPECIAL MY LAST CORN FILL UP AT REBEL!

AS I WAS STOPPING AT BARSTOW (LYNWOOD REST STOP) HEY LETS PARK NEXT TO THE CORVETTE! in front of IN n OUT!
I know he wont bang my door ! HEHEHEH

Gentlemen and his lady came out and took photo for me ! thought it was cool and some peoples necks were snapping walking past the cars so i did!

THEN.....proceeding down HIGHWAY 58 towards Interstate 5....this is all i saw.....desert desert so boring...

SHORTLY AFTER.....as i was leaving the last chevron & Shell before the entrance to the 5, a real cool guy named Paul and his brother rolled up with an M3! YAY COMPANY! I honestly thought that it was concept from far away because of the blue tape! BUT IT WASNT... BUMMER BUT HE let me take some few photos and we chatted it up a little!

Cool thing was, he and his bro is from Seattle! Driving back from picking up the M3 from LA! WOW! Glad i wasnt the only one coming from somewhere far! I can really see how dedicated he was in getting the car! Flew from seattle to LA then drive back!

AND JESUS....how do you CALI folks pay 4.79/a gallon !???? AHHHHH !

HEHE shortly after.....i found some CORN in SACRAMENTO! DRINK UP BABY!!!!

After getting out of California and heading towards PORTLAND.....

I forgot to take photos in Oregon but i stopped for wendys in Ashford OR. Also stopped to get gas and unfortunately first time me in Oregon so i didnt know about the gas fill up law. LOL got in trouble from the attendant! I told him i can do it myself and he said both of us will get fined, so i let him fill up my gas tank lol

SHEESH! no one told me about that about OREGON!

Anyways....got to Portland, and meant another cool guy, got to meetup and have something to grab to eat with Wedge, WedgePerformance.
Got to ride in his car and had tons of fun!
Awesome guy and his car is F'in FAST!!! WE flew off the ground for a few seconds haha !

FINALLY I AM IN SEATTLE!!!! TO CLOSE THE NIGHT I met up with Markus8291, has an awesome 335xi n55! REAL COOL DUDE! SO I LET HIM TAKE MY CAR AROUND THE BLOCK to test my car finally! So we took a few photos to close the night at Uwajimaya in Renton!

Both my friends car race at the speedway like i said!

Nice pics! Must've been a helluva trip with the IS. My family is from SoCal and Vegas, so I make that trip almost annually.. I usually take my X5 but this is making me think about taking my 335i next time. Welcome to the PNW!

HEY! Thank you for the welcome! Im happy to hear your from the SW also! WOW it must be a blast driving the X5, hehe so comfortable right?

But yes in the 335is it was so fun almost drove in 7th gear the whole time because i was in the 2800-3000 RPM and range and boost felt so nice when i was getting out of nice turns! That low end torque i tell you! Again thanks for the warm welcome and taking time outta your day to read this! Hope to see you around soon!

You definitely have to go at least once! I know it is tons of miles on the car in a short period of time but so much better then city driving where your limited to only like 40MPH and in fear of someone or something popping out of nowhere.

I'm in LA, so we do a few trips a year. We've been taking the girlfriend's Fit instead of my M3 or E46 330i, but I think the 335 is gonna have to stretch its legs sometime soon

Oh yeah man you have to! I think what I enjoyed most was the Low end torque during the drive. 7th gear at 75+ mph was a blast!
