Lovely motor Peter, welcome to the forums

335i manuals are pretty rare and if u r looking to do power mods u've picked the right engine (N54) mate

Lots of friendly folks around who'll help u in the mod process, just shout

Hello & welcome, nice choice of car/gearbox, however that plate & the tacky illegal font are a massive no-no for me sorry.

Ha ha knew the plate would get no love on here.
(mite get a legal pressed plate instead with the correct spacing)
Its staying though had it since i was 11.

Yea i was only after a manual and it had to be the saloon coz of the impending family coming along in the next few years.
was the only manual for sale i could find in the country (in the saloon)
travelled 8 hours round trip to maidstone to collect from the dealer.

When i got it home found the discs were warped (prev owner had fitted discs that were 2 small)had to order 335i discs (goverment spec) as the diameter of mine were about an inch to small pad was only half making contact.

yea loved the type r but needed a bit more space and comfort.
the honda was a cool bit of kit and i loved it,the difference is the power obviously.the honda was awsome up to around 80 but out of puff then really, this comes alive after 60 and just pulls so hard, its crazy.

Nice motor...but you seriously need some spacers to bring the wheels out to properly fill the arches.

Yeah I saw them on eBay for around that much as well when I was looking for them, but apparently they chip quite easily and £80 from the dealer was a good price IMO.

EDIT: bear in mind that I have an e92 so might be slightly different pricing for an e90

My plans will be a few visual mods for now e.g rear spoiler (k -tech), grill and wheel spacers then when more cash is available prob get a remap (like the look of the cobb) and def want an exhaust (bmw performance or miltek).

I was thinking of painting my grill with plasti dip.
