Should I create a DIY on clutch replacement

I will be putting in a Spec Stage 3+ most likely on Saturday-Sunday and replacing many other things at the same time (Trans mounts, rear main, trans out put seal, SSK and DSSR from UUC) wanted to know if though there is a great HPF Video out there if people would like me to take the extra time to take picture and write some descriptions and recommendations/difficulties while I am switching everything over? Is this something you guys would like as I don't currently see a written on out there?

Keep a camera and pad of paper handy, and if you encounter anything helpful or annoying outside of what's in the HPF video, just post the video and tour additions in a DIY thread.

A DIY would be very useful as their seems to be a lot of clutches that go out on this platform.

You'll have to let us know how the Stage3+ Spec clutch is. I'm looking into replacing mine now, and was eye'ing the Stage 2+.

My OEM clutch with 80k miles does not like E85 boost levels . Imagine that.

lol i went s3+ for the same situation i have 77k on mine and e30 wasn't a good day. I will let you know initial impressions are very driveable and very different but none the less not an issue. only about 50 miles in on it yet have to update more once break in has been performed and power can be put through it.

I've gotta do my clutch soon as well. 94k miles starting slipping once I put the JB4 in and now slips even on stock tuning....

DIY would be helpful even outside the HPF video.

How much of a PITA was the clutch job? Were there a lot of tight spaces?

Sorry I had typed up a response right away however did fail to click submit, apologies it was quite a PITA for me due to lack of information going into it and tool requirement not being thorough enough. My goal is to with the DIY I am Creating have everything laied out and simple enough it will be a quick process. The only things mainly that made it difficult was lack off certain tools and being a small guy for re installing and removing the transmission lol. Happy to answer any questions anyone has about this I will even provide my phone number should you need additional assistance

I think a good opening for the DIY is
'Be honest about your mechanical abilities. Replacing a clutch is not exceptionally difficult but it does require special tools, basic mechanical ability, attention to detail and a safe working environment. " or something like that.

Wasn't there a thread last week about a guy that did his clutch and it took him 5 days, did it wrong, missed work and had other issues? Probably would've been better off taking it to a shop and paying to have it done right.
