18x9 squared on 335xi?
I'm having trouble determining if an 18x9 squared setup will work on an '09 335xi with the KW v1 suspension. In particular, I'm unsure if it will it fit up front and, if so, what offset to select.
I'm sure the answer is out there already, but I'm having trouble finding it and need to make a decision by tomorrow (just noticed the Apex EC-7 group buy, which ends tomorrow and I haven't had time to do my homework). So any input would be appreciated. Looks like 18x8.5 with et35 is a safe bet for a square setup, but I'd like to go a bit wider if it will fit. |

My summer wheel setup will be 18x9.5+30 square setup with 235/40 and 265/35 on KW V1 and I am also a 2009 e92 xdrive.. You can definitely fit a 18x9 and I would shoot for a low 30 offset if you want a nice plug and play setup

Thanks for the input, glad to hear it will work. Just trying to decide if 9 is a more aggressive look than suits me, and if it'll just be more likely to get curb rash (I live in the city, so parallel parking is a frequent necessity). I think I'm leaning towards the 8.5, b/c it looks like the workable tire options are about the same either way -- it looks like 245/40/18 or 245/35/18 is the widest tire I can run at the front without more tweaking than I'm interested in, which I've been told will work with either the 18x8.5 et35 or the 18x9 et31.
