battert for e90 where to buy

Been looking all over for a battery for my 08 330d. Struggling to find something which is the same 90ah 900a or cca. Not one company local has the same spec. Bmw told me if I change the battery capacity I must have it programmed but they can only code bmw genuine batteries due to a number on the top?

Tried Euro car parts no joy, 95ah or above. County batteries only list standard batteries for my car? Also another local battery supplier recommended a varta G14 which is AGM. I can't make out if mine is AGM or standard the battery is black which I have read is AGM?

Anyone else had this trouble next place I'm calling is exide as it's an exide battery fitted to confirm all I need to know!,

I was under the impression once battery was registered all is well! But it appears not. I can register it but can't code a different type/ rating to my car. Any help please

I don't know where the battery is located in an E90, but if it is in the boot I would not fit the halfords' battery in the link. You should fit a sealed battery, and the Halfords one isn't sealed.

I'd look for a Bosch (@ GFS) or Yuasa (halfords).

Euro car parts have an offer for 15% off online reservation of batteries. Just bought one from them for mates A4, Bosch 80AH one for under £100. The key is also how long you plan to keep the car as when fitting new battery its good idea to recode the car so it knows new batteyr is fitted.

I have tried eBay aswell but nothing comes close to 90ah 900a. I will have another look on Euro car parts. I'm wanting a battery that's the same so I don't need to reprogramme the car. I can code a new battery as in register it but can't alter the capacity or if it's agm or standard. Bloody bmw always have to make things so complicated it's annoying I thought mercedes was bad

Mines not the same as the original bmw battery, done no coding and its been good as gold for over a year, the original was playing up big time kept resseting clocks etc and my heaters wouldnt work.
Trade price at £86, bmw wanted nearly £400 for a new battery + fitting
Get as close as you can with a 3 year warranty if it goes wrong within that time just keep getting it replaced

No coding is fine but it will shorten the life of the battery or alternator....

Already have rang bmw they want £285 for the battery and £57.50 to code it! I can buy a 1200A 220ah battery for less than that! And they was unsure what type I needed agm or standard. My car has active brake regeneration which shows up agm on realoem if I'm using it right
