JB4 Logging Question

Hey guys

I installed my jb4 a few weeks back. I turned off auto clear and had two codes that were normal tuner codes....I was wondering though. If I have a stock car with no other mods but the JB4, and I am running map 1, do I really need to do a data log? Everything seems smooth and I dont notice any issues.

Thanks

I'd love to know this too. I installed my JB4 a few weeks back and have been leaving it on map 5. No problems, just awesomeness. And since I'm currently not running E85 or anything, I didn't see a reason to do any logging...

just because you do not feel there is anything wrong does not mean 100% that its all good.
a log will show you cylinder timing drops, overboost, underboost, afr and IAT

To be honest, I'm lazy and I have rarely logged my car for the past 1-2 years ive had my jb4 on my car. And every time I did it Terry said everything looks fine. I guess you can do it to have that peace of mind that everything is running right. But I don't think logging is unnecessary unless your mixing E85, race gas, or trying to take the tune to another level. Just my 2 cents.....

Normally you'd only log if there was a problem or if you are trying to make more performance than you are currently.
