Picked up a set of Bmw 335i suspension last week pretty cheap to get me buy until i get my coil overs. They compress all the way when i press on them buy hand all 4 the guy claims they are good. i didn't want to risk installing them and have them be bad so i bought another set of bmw sport suspension off a car with 50k , the guy said they are perfect but he got coils and wanted to get rid of them. these also compress almost all the way down. Is that normal? I can't have gotten 8 suspension and they are all bad on all sides.

With 50k miles on the stuff you are wasting time and money. Thay loose much of the damping by 70k miles. I have a whole set with 1100 miles on them that came off of my car when new and they are easy to compress front and rear.

i got them almost free... if they are working and will hold another 2-3k I'm happy.
