As has been said,It's cheaper to replace the whole arm than have new bushings pressed in. My steering is super quick now. Def an improvement.

fyi OP shows the tension struts. It's the m3 wishbones (not this) that adds neg camber.

Are these also called "thrust arms"?

I suspect yes but I'm not sure. tension strut seems to be official name, shown on realoem.

So other than the Control arms and control arm struts, is there anything else one would need to do the refresh on the front end? (besides sub-frame bushings)
The kit I'm looking at is a 5 piece TRW. Although I don't have adaptive headlights, so the leveling rod is useless for me.

This is on my to-do list for next month.

Depends on your definition of refresh. Without knowing your other mods or mileage, there is the M3 front sway bar with bushings, M3 strut tower brace, and the upgraded toe adjustment arms. I'm on my phone now so I couldn't provide the links. HP autowerks has all the parts.

Thanks! 90K on the car with Eibach sport springs and Koni shocks all around (modest drop). I have the m-sport sways (F/R) sitting in my garage, so I thought as I do the work to the F/R, I'd swap out my standard ones at that time.

As far as the refresh, just looking to do the popular bushing refresh everyone talks about, starting with the front and then moving to the rear at a later date. M3 upgrade parts seems to be the way to go as I'll keep my ride for another 2-3 years and want to continue to enjoy it.

No problem, just so you know the subframe bushings you are referring to are for the rear subframe. Those are the ones everyone replaces with the M3 variants.

Bingo on both accounts. You can add a different bushing into your stock upper tension arms and get a relatively same effect in terms of cutting down on deflection, but the lower wishbone will give you that extra negative camber. You can also add in monoball bearings in the tension arm for literally no deflection. The ride quality doesn't change much either.
