Help with Suspension!
Hello there a BMW newbie here with a few questions on new suspensions I'm looking to buy for my 2009 e90 328i, i've also attached the only pic I have on me right now.
After buying the car couple weeks back I had it checked out at the local BMW dealership here in Mongolia and they told me the suspensions on the car is pretty bad and the shocks are not retracting? because my car is sitting really low with stock suspensions. They told me the suspensions looked like it has never been replaced so it's about time to replace them with new ones. Here in Mongolia the roads are pretty bad, and I mean really bad, but I will only drive my car in the city so it can sit a little lower with sport/aftermarket suspensions. So I was looking at some Koni H&R kits and it did say it will lower the car than regular, can someone help me if this can work on my car with the road conditions in UB? Is there any difference between suspensions that work better in extreme cold weather(UB is the coldest capital city in the World) Would really appreciate any help as I am looking to make my purchase from ECS Tuning as I have already made a few orders on other parts. Any other online store could also be very helpful and I need to make the correct purchase as I would be shipping it from the US to Mongolia after purchasing it(dealership here had OEM suspensions at around $800 a piece which is the price for a set) Thanks again!! |
