I have been running ~40% e85 mix for about a year and 20,000 miles. Roughly 75% of my tank fills use this mix, the other 25% are straight 93.
No fuel pump problems, but I did recently have a fuel injector crap out. The injectors are a weak spot even if you are running normal pump gas, so I can't say for sure if it is related tot he e85 or not. Besides that I have had no noticeable problems. I did try going 50-60% e85 once, and my fuel pumps could not handle it. |

Little update here. On Sunday the car smoked a fuse in the low pressure bucket, so obviously the pump wouldn’t flow and the car wouldn’t get any pressure in the rail. Replaced the HPFP, LPFP Sensor, and the relevant fuse today. Caused by E85? Probably not.
But FYI, for whatever that’s worth.
