Spacer and tire help

hi i just bought a set of aftermarket rims and was wondering if anyone can help me with tire size and spacers. They are 19*8.5 with a 38mm offset al laround. I think ill need spacers in the back to make them flush with the outside but dont know how much. Also will i need spacers in the front. What tirse size should i be running if i have a 325I nonsport.

10mm or 15mm should work. To be conservative, go with the 10mm. For a more aggressive look, go with the 15mm

You shouldn't need any spacers in the front, at least that's what I've been told, as you should be able to go up to 8.5" wide with a 40mm offset (see tirerack.com for proof of this). You only have 38mm, which gives you an extra 2mm on the strut side.

In the rear, most folks go with the 10mm option. That's what I'm going to choose. It eliminates that "tucked in" look, but doesn't put you at any risk of rubbing. At 15mm you *should* be fine too, but it may vary. In the worst case you could always change your spacer back to 10mm if you get rubbing, or roll your fenders.

Hope this helps.
