Possible to determine ECU flash date?
My friend wants to buy a 335i, can he take it to the dealer and will they tell him the last date that ECU was flashed? Is it possible to determine this without going to the dealer? Also is there a way to tell if a jb4 before was installed?

at the dealer...NO
at BMW NA... YES jb4 is a piggyback not a FLASH so when u inistall it shouldnt show anything, tell her to get a BT tool to clear codes if its cobb and his uninstalling it he should be okay. unless if it is a PUMA case. My friend is a tech at BMW and told me this |
