eBay Seller: Breyton Spirit Replicas

I've seen photos of these Breyton Spirit replicas posted here before, but has anyone actually purchased from this eBay seller before? If so, please share your experience.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

This may be a stupid question, but the auction states that the wheel will fit an E38, E60, or an E65....does this mean that it will not fit an E90?

Thanks!

Yes...however since it's the middle of the night where the seller is (and also the weekend) I figured that I might get a faster answer from the all-knowing E90post.com community. I also wanted to here of anyone else's +/- experience with this eBay seller.

I find that a lot of time, replicas uses cheaper material and are heavier, so you should definitely find the specs and compare the weight differences between the two

Definately something to watch for. Breytons are notoriously heavy to start with. The real Breyton Spirit in 20*9.5 is 37#s. This is a full 12 pounds heavier than the 18" 162s. While they look hot they will definately take a toll on your performance .

Yeah, you need to be in the mid to high 30's in offset to be safe.

True
According to some info I gathered in this forum a 15mm offset wheel will extend beyond the fender (front and rear) guaranteed. A 22mm offset might sit flush with the rear fender but will probably rub.

Wheels look PIMP. Too bad there's no size for the E90.

It appears that the seller has updated the auction to include fitments for an E90. Do you think these offsetts will work?

B-SPIRIT STYLE RIMS

- (2) 20 X 9.0 Front offset 38
- (2) 20 X 10.0 Rear offset 45
- 5 X 120
- Silver w/ Machined Lip (Opt. Black w/ Machined Lip)
- (4) BMW center cap

i saw this style wheels on an e90 in person. i met the guy at the dealer when i was going in for the software update. it actually look nice. i told him about e90post but havent seen any picture of his car. so i doubt he is here. that offset is for a 5sries..e90 have a 35+ front and low offset in the rear. i think 22 is pushing it but it will fit.

The seller is listing the offsets for an E90 as follows:

Front offset 38
Rear offset 45

What do you think?

it will fit, but the rear need spacers. or else it will stick in too much. unless the width is a 10" width.

That's good news then...the seller lists the wheels as 9" in the front and 10" in the rear.
