Can You Use Different Springs With Pss9's Or Kw ?

I'm reading over and over how one person thinks the shocks from one are softer but the spring from the other are softer, and vice versa.

In general, can you use PSS9 Shocks with a different Spring - or has anyone ?

By the same token, could you use KW Shocks and some other Spring.

I know the knee jerk reaction is NO, but has anyone tried.

Also, when setting your Shocks - can you vary from side to side and front to back considering that the drivers weight changes the ride on one side a bit. Another words, Front Left 4, Front Right 5 and Rear Left 4 and Rear Right 5.

I would not mix springs, just because each strut/shock is developed around and with the spring that it comes with.

I don't know off hand, but the sizes may vary a bit as well.

Are you talking about corner weight balancing? If so, you can do that with almost any coilover set up, without having to swap springs.

I am not real happy with the dead springs on the PSS9 struts. IMO a 60mm set up would be an improvement.
