N54 vs N55 intercooler

will any N54 335i intercooler be able to apply on a N55 335i vehicle?

COBB tuning confirmed that their intercooler fits both N54 and N55 but AMS isnt willing to confirm their N54 part will fit on my N55.

Im wondering if there's anyone out there knows the fitment? or anyone ever applied AMS N54 intercooler on your N55 with no problem?

if there was a problem, what was the minor modification that you did to make it fit?

intercoolers are same part number, pipes are different.

Our intercooler is compatible with both N54 & N55 but it's because we offer compatible piping in our design

ER are different... But helix or ETS are the same with diff piping
