9 degrees. Start it up, goes to 1100 like normal, then just poops out and shuts off. Had to goose the gas on the seconds start up to prevent it stalling again.
This is exactly what I have to do every morning. If you find a way to fix it, please let us know!

As I stated, the ECM reprogram will likely fix that. It did for me. Mine wasn't dying all the time, but would drop to 5-600 RPM. It doesn't do that any more, but now has RPM surge for the first ~15 seconds it starts. New ECM program came out 12/2013 from what I heard.

I had my car flashed on Tuesday and it still died on first start this AM. Once I fired it up again everything was fine, there has to be something else causing this issue.

That is interesting. I am thinking my issue is carbon buildup or the hpfp getting weak.

Yeah I just had mine updated, which did nothing to help the issue. Aside from the cold start issue, my car idles at 500RPM. Sometimes when I come to a stoplight, the RPMs just drop to 0 and the car turns off.

Come to think of it, I don't think that I had this problem before I took it to the dealer to have my water pump replaced two weeks ago.

I had my water pump replaced this week too and got a brand new HPFP late December of last year. I'm only having these issues on cold start when it is freezing outside, other than that it runs and idles fine. I'm thinking it might be carbon build up, I'm at 30k miles.

Did they update your ECM too? Just trying to narrow down the possibilities. I am going to take video of my startup when I leave in 30 minutes.
