I bought the car with about 19k on the car, and im at 27k as we speak, ive been tuned w/ Cobb aggressive stage 1 since 20k...think its time to change the plugs or i still have some life on them, vehicle is a 2011 335 E90 N55 motor

With a tune on these motors, a lot of us change them every 10k miles or so. I change mine every 2nd or third oil change.
Gotta pay to play unfortunately.

Most people recommend replacing them every 20-25k miles when tuned. I'd advice to visually inspect them first before swapping them out.
Also, for reference, BMW service interval for spark plug is every 3 (15k mile) oil Changes or roughly around 45,000 miles. Last edited by FriedPiston; 03-03-2014 at 03:59 PM.. |

What if I have 34,000 miles and been tuned since 14,000 miles....should I change them? Everything is running fine, knock on wood. I kinda have that don't fix it if it ain't broke kinda mentality lol

I havent changed mine also (30k) and fully bolted with e-85 since 10k. What are you guys changing to?
