The trim around windows in the E92 can be sealed or waxed as any pain?
How about polishing? Needs a metal polish?

Do you know what is the finish on it exactly? I've seen various trim on E92s but since you're mentioning metal polish I imagine you have the grey/silver trim? Is there anything wrong with it or are you looking to simply protect it?

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to find out what trim you have. Another thing you can do is ask the dealership to tell you the exact finish on it and how to treat it. I would imagine you should be able to seal it like paint regardless of the finish.

Actually, thank you for you questions!!! Nothing wrong with it. Just trying to make them look good. Also, how about the trim in Audis? and aluminum side mirrors in the S audis?

Glad there's nothing you're trying to fix. Normally trim like this is only "fake" chrome on top of alumimum or plastic (not sure exactly the process on different cars/manufacturers) and shouldn't be polished with anything abrasive. Usually a mild all-in-one product or cleaner waxes are the best option if you see some waterspots, etc. Otherwise a regular waxing/sealing should keep it well protected.
