Fresh. At what mileage did you have it done? Did it make a noticeable difference in throttle response or performance? Did they offer before and after pics of the blasted surfaces?

I just had my valves walnut blasted at Plaza, no surprises, the carbon buildup was awful. I have 63K on the car, here's an imgur link to some before/after pics I asked the dealer to take. He could only get a decent picture of a couple cylinders but said they were all about the same.
View post on imgur.com I was having rough cold start idle and 5 misfires in cyl 6 (4 at startup and 1 on the highway with a warm engine). They charged $595 for labor+materials.
