Want to Buy 2006-2011 BMW E91 3-Series Wagon
I am Searching for a 3-series Wagon with under 80,000 miles for my wife. Wish List:
Preferred colors would be Silver, Sparkling Graphite, Space Grey or Tasman green, however, if the car looks good, we will consider any color. Open to any interior color If you are looking to trade-in or sell a 3-Series Wagon with or without mods, let me know. PM or post in the Thread. I could pay cash, but would likely travel and pay with a Cashier's check. I've flown from Wisconsin to New York & from St Louis to Texas to pick up cars on short notice in the past. I am handy & don't mind doing some Mechanical work on the car to save some cash. I'll likely take the car to a local BMW dealership to give the car a once-over before driving back to Wisconsin in Winter-Time. I have attached pics of a wagon I like, but this car must have been sold before I was in the market. If you have a wagon or if you know someone looking to sell a wagon, please let me know. Thank you for looking, Jared Last edited by ExchangeHut; 02-13-2014 at 04:35 PM.. |

Thank you to the several people that PM'd, however, we are really looking for lower mileage E91 Wagons. I have an E90 Sedan with 205k miles and I am comfortable maintaining this car but this will be my wife's car and she said she feels comfortable with a 50k - 80k mileage wagon. She is driving the sedan now but with another baby due in June, we have 5 months to find what she wants.
Again, if you have a wagon or you know someone with a wagon and considering selling it, let me know. Thanks, Jared |

I have an E91 I've just put up for sale, though it doesn't quite meet all your criteria; namely it has over 80k miles (83k to be precise) and it's a manual. Details attached - http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/4305075229.html It's a California car that's been serviced at Sonnen BMW Marin from new and had last service at a indie BMW specialist in Mill Valley. Totally stock and never seen snow (or specifically salt!). Let me know if you're interested. cheers, Andrew |

Thanks Andrew. However, my wife can't drive a stick shift. I tried teaching her how to drive a stick shift car over 10 years ago and it was a terrible experience for both of us.
We started on country roads in Wisconsin and while driving back home, she got caught in rush hour traffic while someone called me from work. Needless to say, she won't be learning to drive a manual transmission. If you know anyone with a Wagon, the goal would be to find something between 50k-80k for mileage. I will drive the car back across the country for the right car/deal. Thanks, Jared |

Still Looking
Thank you Speedwagon and TheRealM3, for the offers. Unfortunately, both of those cars are out of our price range. We are looking at 50k-80k to keep the price within our budget.
I really appreciate the opportunity to look at both cars before they went to the dealer or up for sale elsewhere. That is what makes this forum great. Anyone know someone with 50k-80k mileage E91 Wagon for sale or soon to be for sale? Please let me know. Regards, Jared |

Buying an E91 Wagon this weekend
I found an E91 wagon at Princeton BMW in Hamilton New Jersey, I put a deposit down and I'm flying out on Friday night late to pick up the car (if all looks legit).
This is a last ditch effort to see if there are any gems out there with low miles for sale. I don't want to pay "asking" price on a car from a dealer but I think they realized they had a good "E-Price" when I started negotiating over the phone. I found this lower mileage beauty in the Sparkling Graphite, which is the same color as my 2006 BMW 330i that we will be selling when it gets warm enough to replace the brakes and rear springs. Here is the link on the new car: http://www.princetonbmw.com/used/BMW...0c471dae08.htm The price seems to be good (even though that is what they are asking for), single owner car, bought and serviced from Princeton BMW. Flights and gas will cost me $400, plus I am actually looking forward to the 14 hour drive back to Wisconsin. However, KBB, Edmunds, and NADA all have different prices on what the car is worth. I haven't found anything under 80k miles for under $16.5k and this car from this dealer makes me feel comfortable with the deal. Let me know if anyone would like to chime in but I think I'm going to have a new Bimmer in the driveway on Sunday morning. Thanks for everyone's offers and interest in my search. This forum has been a great resource and will continue to be a resource as long as I own an E90 or E91 Bimmer. Weather; please hold out. Regards, Jared |

I've been looking for a very specific E91 combination for months, but it seems like there are plenty of cars out there that meet your requirements. You didn't specify a budget, but it sounds like that might be the limiting factor since many newer cars are still in the high 20's, even low 30's. The car you found looks really nice and seems like a good value, but personally I would not buy a 325i. Good luck with the purchase, let us know how it works out.
