n55 burning oil

I had my oil changed at the dealer 3,000 miles ago and the car has burned enough oil to throw a low oil warning light. Is this normal or signs of a possible problem?

Piston rings gone bad... Happened in my g35, notorious for it. This engine doesn't rev very high so I don't think oil consumption is too normal.

that's not normal, assuming you still have warranty bring it in to the dealer and voice your concern

Agree with those above. Not normal at all. When it happened to me, it turned out to be a crack in the turbo housing. Take it in asap.
