Gunmetal Caliper Paint

I'm rebuilding my brakes and painting them in the process either black or a dark gray gunmetal. G2 has the caliper paint kit in black but not gunmetal, the closest thing is silver. Currently, I'm looking at getting a custom color from G2, just need to decide on a shade of grey that matches well.

Here's a picture of my Morr vs8.2 which is a brushed aluminum + clear with black background. Please excuse my little 328i calipers/rotors, I will be doing a conversion and putting larger oem 335i brakes on.

EDIT: I think I will be getting a custom color from G2, just trying to pick a shade of gray now. I'm currently looking at the Porsche GT3 RS Grey that Creaminz painted his 335i with. It's subtle yet classy. Any thoughts or other shades of gray I should consider?

Other options include paying G2 $99 for a custom color or spending even more and powdercoating them which I think is a bit overkill.

I'm on the fence of just going with the G2 kit and doing black which seems like the route most people go. I feel black calipers would just fade into the shadows which is why I think gunmetal would be a better idea while still being subtle. Any opinions?
What about this.........

Thanks.
Colour is Nogaro Silver (colour match for OEM wheels I believe). Clean, sand & paint.
Caliper anti-rattle clip is OEM. I filled the hole with metal putty & sanded flat. Then paint, apply custom sticker & 3-4 coats of clear.
That it. Very easy with a little attention to detail.
Our calipers are quite ugly therefore I didn't want red or yellow to make them stand out. I went for something that I thought would make it look clean & finished whilst being subtle. I think I achieved what I was hoping for.

Thanks mate, what brand and kind of paint did you use? How long has it been since you did and how's it held up? I see a lot of caliper brush or spray on paint but I wanted to see someone who's used it and yours looks awesome! Did you clear the entire caliper or just the anti-rattle clip?

Your paint/finish is exactly what I'm going for except I want a bit darker shade of gray since the background of my wheels are black. I think your gray/darkgray looks much cleaner and classier than black.

Thanks Patrick719, that's a sweet grey as well. I'm going to look into some of the greys from exotic cars.

Well. If you goto autozone and look at their cans of touchup spraypaint they have some very faint sand/gold colors that don't stand out at all. I did my last car in that color, looked very subtle and nice.
