Review: Coding done w/BMWHAT App
So after reading about BMWHAT App here i decided to give it a try since i already had Bluetooth OBD II adapter.
List of coding option offered: http://www.ivini-apps.com/coding.html I already had some coding done previously but wanted to add couple more features so following was done with this app: 1. Welcome lights (disabled turn signal lights and little corner LEDs) - This was done to only show my LED angel eyes when i unlock my car 2. Fog light stay on when using high beams - I blew out wayy too many fog light bulbs on my previous cars bc it was turning on and off constantly (i use my highbeams alot at night) 3. "Follow me home lights" with remote - When i hit the trunk release button quickly, my headlights will turn on. Comes in handy in dark areas. Above 3 has been coded and proven to work on my car. Eventually i will try other coding available whenever i get bored. Just as a heads up, my OBD II adapter was unable to access some of the areas (such as JBBF [wiper system], DWA[security]). I get a pop up saying my ECU area is too complex for my adapter to access (tells me to purchase their own adapter for $$) I'm hoping this app will update to include more coding option but i am satisfied so far |
